‍Using the alphabet as an organizing structure, this work 'punches up' at political leaders and current events and narratives with a focus on violence and its relationship to lying. Combining and arranging the various letters into acronyms and words makes fun of power and its craziness.

These nine digital photo-based paintings are composed of three sets of triptychs. Made during the pandemic, this work looks at Death, the Supreme Court and Money. Currently there is an adjoining wall of objects that are part of this work. This work is part of the wide angle view of Nothing Random Access Memory.

HANG 2020
Pyramid Schemes
‍
Using Scrabble pieces as the building blocks to assemble the symbols of empire (the pyramid), fascism (the swastika), and religion (the cross), this work examines the language of these world views.

Across from two pyramids made of swastikas are two additional pyramids, one consisting of crosses and the other (inverted) made of zeroes and ones, functioning as the digital divide and representing the promise of equal access to all.

Eye Charts
‍
The Eye Charts also take the two dimensional pyramid form and deal with the language and issues of current cultural urgency.

All the word pieces are puzzles both in spirit and process. These works are part of the wide angle view of Nothing Random Access Memory.
